After having worked considerably during the last 2 decades to rehabilitate the marshes of Aammiq and to have participated in the creation of several natural parks in Lebanon.
A Rocha Lebanon focuses on creating urban green spaces’s in the Bekaa Valley, a region known for its agriculture and unique landscape. The aim is to continue to promote biodiversity conservation and support local communities in the management of their natural resources.
’A Rocha Lebanon projects include the planting of’trees, the creation of community gardens and the implementation of’A environmental education programs for children and adults. They also work with churches and local communities to raise awareness of the’ importance of conservation and protection of the’environment.
Through our work, A Rocha Lebanon contributes to the achievement of the’s 11 sustainable development goal for sustainable communities, creating urban green spaces that not only improve the quality of life of residents, but also protect biodiversity and local ecosystems.
